The major focus of Young Professionals of Hot Springs is to develop ourselves as professionals. This is done through networking with others, involving ourselves in the community, and attending professional seminars. The latter of these is the focus of this branch of YPHS.

The goal of the Professional Development committee is to make relevant, helpful information available to all of our members. This can include leadership seminars, opportunities to attend civic meetings, financial planning seminars, etc. Basically, anything that might help to improve our ability to be productive members of our professional community would fall within the realm of professional development events.

We have a PD event once every other month. These meetings can be lunches, after hours, or breakfasts. They will almost always be on the first Tuesday of the month. The months that we will have events will be during the February, April, June, August, October and December months. It is understood that as professionals, we cover a vast array of groups and occupations. Every meeting may not be relevant to your specific career, but we do want to bring a wealth of information throughout the year to benefit you along the way.
